Electrophysiologist – South Shore University Hospital

Northwell Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a fellowship-trained Electrophysiologist to join the highly skilled cardiac team at South Shore University Hospital located in Bay Shore, New York.

Northwell Health’s Department of Cardiology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City and Westchester, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. South Shore University Hospital has become a destination for residents in Suffolk County who are in need of world-class care. In fact, more people choose South Shore University Hospital for complex heart and lung care than any other hospital on the east end of Long Island. As the tertiary hospital of Northwell’s Eastern Region, we taken care of complex electrophysiology patients with high volume, a wide referral network, and support of a high-quality cardiac surgery program.

South Shore University Hospital is a tertiary care cardiac program performing all aspects of cardiac and cardiac surgical care. The EP program offers all EP diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including Atrial Fibrillation ablation, Endo and Epi VT ablation, CRT, Leadless pacing and lead extraction. In addition, the EP program participates in many device and ablation trials offering the EP physicians and their patients access to the latest cutting-edge technology such as PFA ablation, Novel leadless pacing, Newer ICD leads, and Novel Extravascular ICDs for example.

The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology with training and experience in complex ablations.

Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the fifth largest medical group in the country.
