Interventional Physiatrist

Overview:

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida is a busy multi-specialty orthopedic group looking to add a full time interventional physiatrist with a fellowship in interventional spine or interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine to support patient demand and practice growth. 

Practice Specifics:

Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida is the largest private orthopedic practice in SW Florida. Currently constructing a new medical office building consisting of 60,000 sq. ft. as well as a state of the art 8 room ASC right next door to be completed August 2023. OSSWF is composed of 14 orthopedic surgeons, one PM&R physician and 17 APPS. Orthopedic sub-specialties include; hand, elbow & shoulder, foot & ankle, sports medicine, adult reconstruction, trauma, and spine.

Multiple ancillary services including MRI, DME, PT/OT, as well as digital XR, ultrasound, in-office fluoroscopy suite, and surgical center.

Requirements/Overview:

BC/BE in PM&R

Fellowship trained from an accredited academic institution in interventional pain medicine or interventional spine/musculoskeletal medicine

Basic and advanced orthopedic care including all large joint injections

Basic and advanced interventional spine care including; cervical, thoracic and lumbar injections

Opportunities for inpatient management and inpatient consults

Great opportunity for an individual that has interest in sports medicine and developing a sports medicine program in conjunction with fellowship trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeons. Fort Myers has multiple collegiate and professional teams in need of coverage

Compensation:

Very favorable compensation and benefits package with productivity bonus. Details will be discussed with each candidate individually.
