Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Developmental Pediatrician at Morristown Medical Center. The successful candidate will be an energetic clinician and strong educator who is highly collegial, innovative and patient-centered. Goryeb Childrenas Hospital ranked (UHC) in the top 10% of childrenas hospitals nationally for pediatric quality and safety, serving 5 million population area across 11 counties in New Jersey.
The BE/BC Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrician will be part of a well-established, dedicated clinical team that includes four developmental/behavioral pediatricians, four pediatric neurologists, one child psychologist, one pediatric physiatrist, nurse practitioners, social workers, learning disability education consultants, licensed clinical counselors, speech/language therapists, occupational therapists and a board-certified behavioral analyst.
Programs include an Autism Evaluation and Treatment Team, a Child Study Team, a robust Medication Follow-up Program, Neonatal Intensive Care Follow-up Program including a research component and a Pediatric Cardiac Developmental Follow-up Program. Patients are seen for evaluation and management of issues including autism, ADHD, learning disorders, premature newborn follow-up, psychopharmacologic management, craniofacial disorders, neurodevelopmental follow-up of congenital heart disease, international adoption consultation, and pediatric to adult transition. While the clinical program is the top priority, medical education as well as clinical and laboratory research is currently taking place and would be encouraged.
Goryeb Childrenas Hospital is an 86,000 square foot facility at Morristown Medical Center with facilities at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ and 4 other subspecialty satellite locations. With over 250 pediatricians and 100 pediatric subspecialists from 22 different specialty areas, we offer comprehensive pediatric services. An independent pediatric residency training program exists with 38 residents, medical students on regular rotation, and status as a regional campus of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson.

- Contribute to quality patient outcomes and assure compliance as set forth by Atlantic Health System.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Fellowship trained in Pediatrics Behavior Development
Mininmum Education:
- Bachelors degree in a realted field required
Education:
License/Certification:
- MD or DO preferred
- Must be board eligible/certified
- NJ license or eligible for NJ license
Relevant Experience:
- 1-3 years of prior pediatrics experience is a plus
