Permanent Change Station(PCS) expenses are authorized. -Clinical oversight and administrative management of the Specialty Service Line (SSL). -Clinical oversight and administrative management of the Emergency Medicine Service Line. -Clinical oversight and administrative management of the Hospitalist Service Line. -Direct reports will include but are not limited to: The Medical Director of the Emergency Department, The Chief Hospitalist and the Chief of Speciality Care Medicine. -Collaborates with SSL service chiefs to ensure integrated goals and priorities are established and met. -Demonstrates sound interpersonal skills, decision making, teamwork and solid leadership, responsible for all residency, intern, and fellowship training programs in medicine. -Provides oversight of the medicine residents, Medical Students, administrative and clinical responsibilities that impact patient care. -Effective and efficient clinical operations, access, consult management, mortality and other pertinent SAIL performance metrics. -Oversee all aspects of the listed service lines above including budget and fiscal management, human resource management, strategic planning, and program development and process improvement/quality performance metrics. -Collaborates with other service chiefs in the development and execution of the overall Medical Center strategic and business plan. ACOS/Medicine is responsible and accountable for the overall leadership, policy planning, budget, operations and performance of specialty care, ED, and hospitalist services to achieve quality healthcare and outcomes.
