Neonatology – Per Diem Opportunity

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a neonatologist to join our organization in western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights:

• We are seeking per diem neonatologists to join our team of 7 neonatologists, neonatal hospitalist and 10 neonatal APPs at Baystate Children’s Hospital in Springfield MA.
• Our 55-bed NICU admits over 850 infants per year and represents the only Level III nursery in western Massachusetts. 
• The division has access to all pediatric subspecialties, full pediatric surgery support, total body hypothermia, high-frequency ventilation (HFOV and Jet), iNO, and an in-house regional transport service.
• Teaching of Pediatric and Med-Peds residents and students from UMass-Baystate and Tufts.

Qualifications:  ABMS BC/BE in Neonatology and a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.

Baystate Children’s Hospital is a 107-bed facility, which provides complete critical care programs including the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, as well as pediatric inpatient services, child life specialists, a designated emergency room just for kids, and outpatient specialty services.  Baystate Children’s Specialty Center houses 15 pediatric specialty services under one roof with focus on care coordination, comfort and convenience for children and families.
