The Orlando, FL Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting a non-invasive Cardiologist to provide a broad range of care to our Veterans. You will share responsibility for outpatient clinics, inpatient teaching rounds and inpatient consultation, including ICU. Perform diagnostic studies such as echocardiography, TEE, exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, event monitor, ECG interpretations and diagnosis & management of arrhythmias. Provide support to inpatient services through consultations and to Primary Care providers via phone, e-consults and outpatient consults.
You will be supervising residents and are encouraged to pursue an academic appointment at the University of Central Florida. Board certification or board eligibility for Cardiology is required. Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology board certification is highly preferred. Limited on-call; only required every 10-12 weeks when covering inpatient service!
