Well-established ophthalmology/optometry office seeking to add another comprehensive ophthalmologist to the team, with a preference for glaucoma or medical retinal sub-specialty. The practice is known among patients and referring doctors for its personalized care, high patient satisfaction and outstanding surgical outcomes. The practice is very well managed and places high importance on good communication, cooperation, respect and team-work. The staff are long term, some present over 25 years, and most over 10 years. The ideal candidate is an excellent clinician and surgeon, a good communicator, committed to building the practice, and someone who appreciates and will contribute to a positive family atmosphere with excellent patient/staff interactions. This is a full-time position with the intention of leading to partnership, typically available at the 1-2 year point. The salary is negotiable based upon experience; guaranteed base salary with a production bonus available. The practice has state of the art equipment, including a Heidelberg HRA+OCT Spectralis, Haag-Streit Octopus VF, Ellex Tango Reflex laser, Lenstar, Zeiss IOL Master, Ellex Integrepro Scan, Reichert ORA (corneal hysteresis and cornea-compensated IOP), and Reichert Digital Phoroptor. Surgeries are done at a state of the art ASC nearby. On-call duties are shared equally with all the ophthalmologists in the valley, and the current rotation is 2-3 weeks per year.

Board certified or board eligible MD/DO ophthalmologist, medical and surgical. Must have the ability to be credentialed with government and other third-party payers. Must be eligible to obtain hospital privileges and Oregon state medical licensure.
