* The FNP will provide primary care (often including managing behavioral health medications) for patients with complex medical, behavioral health and substance use disorders * Individual visits are generally longer than in traditional family practice and there are lower productivity expectations built into the model * They will be working as part of a team that includes behavioral health providers, MA, nurse (and yoga instructors now too) * The team reviews patients' progress through treatment weekly, with in-depth case reviews of complex cases monthly
